From Bossa Nova to Baile Funk, Beyond Ipanema explores fifty years of Brazilian music and its impact outside the country. Directed by Brazilian New Yorkers Guto Barra and Béco Dranoff, the documentary features interviews of David Byrne, Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, M.I.A, Devendra Banhart, CSS, Lalo Schifrin and Tropicalia legendary band Os Mutantes.
