“Who would have thought that more than 25 years after its inception, thrash metal’s big four would not only still be around and more popular than ever, but will now play together for the first time. What a! Bring it on!”, says Lars Ulrich from Metallica.
In the early 80′s Slayer, Anthrax, Metallica and Megadeth were know as “the big four ” of Thrash for metal fans. And believe it or not, zillions $ and gigs after the beginning, they never played together.
For my part, the last time I saw something from those bands, it was pretty uggly. Dave Mustaine, frontman of Megadeth was at first in Metallica which he got kicked out. Here he goes some 25 years after, In a pathetic but nevertheless hilarious documentary “Some Kind Of Monsters”, talking with Ulrich and a shrimp trying get over it!
One the tour hits Europe, I’m attending.
